Privacy notice

This notice explains how the King's IBM Qiskit Fall Fest organising team uses the information submitted through the 2026 interest-registration form.

What we collect and why

We collect your name, email address, university or organisation, role and—if you choose to provide it—accessibility or dietary requirements. We use this information to organise the festival, understand demand, contact you about your registration and make reasonable arrangements for attendance.

Who can access it

Access is limited to authorised event organisers. Registration records may be processed using services that support the site and communications, including Vercel, Google Sheets and Zoho Mail. We do not sell registration information or use it for unrelated marketing.

How long we keep it

Accessibility and dietary information should be deleted no later than 30 days after the final 2026 event. Other registration records should be deleted or anonymised within 12 months of the final event, unless they must be retained longer for a legal or safeguarding reason.

Your choices and rights

You can use the management link in your confirmation email to cancel your registration. You can also ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing contact@qiskit.london. The team will verify requests before changing a record.

Questions

For privacy questions, contact contact@qiskit.london. Before the public launch, the organising team should confirm the formal data-controller contact and applicable King's College London privacy wording.
